Turin 2007. Today as every day a fountain pours forth drinking water continuously. I want to measure the quantity and to make it visible and for this I use the “social canon” of the plastic water bottle. For many hours I remain at the fountain and fill the bottles, the whole being recorded all the while by a video camera. The video is to be a short film documentation. During the time I am there I have the opportunity to speak to the local people, we speak about resources and their privatization. I try to make them aware of the waste of water. It is an act of observation and reflection. The people can consider the critical aspects themselves.
